120 job opportunities secured for Ghanaians fleeing xenophobic attacks

The Ministry of International Affairs has introduced that it has secured 120 job alternatives for Ghanaians lately evacuated from South Africa following rising xenophobic tensions.

The ministry mentioned the employment alternatives have been made attainable with the assist of Ghanaian enterprise house owners as a part of its ongoing efforts to assist the reintegration of returnees.

In an open name introduced on Monday, June 1, the Ministry referred to as on extra Ghanaian CEOs and entrepreneurs to assist this effort by offering extra job placements to affected nationals.

“Ghanaian CEOs and entrepreneurs who want to make use of Ghanaians who’ve returned from South Africa are inspired to contact the supply division of the Ministry of International Affairs,” the assertion mentioned.

The ministry disclosed that the hassle is being coordinated by the Supply Division, headed by Ambassador Alexander Grant Ntrakwa. A devoted level of contact has been established to attach potential employers with this system.

“To this point, we now have secured 120 job alternatives from patriotic Ghanaian enterprise house owners. Please be part of us on this nice undertaking,” the ministry added.

The intervention is a part of a broader authorities effort to assist residents affected by latest anti-foreign sentiment and assaults in South Africa, which have compelled many Ghanaians to flee.

Roughly 300 Ghanaians have thus far been evacuated from South Africa, and authorities are working to make sure their protected return and clean reintegration.

The Ministry reiterated its dedication to the welfare of Ghanaians at house and overseas, stressing that it’s taking all mandatory steps to guard the dignity of Ghanaians and assist their transition.

“We worth and cherish all of our residents,” the assertion confused.
