Vice President Jane Nana Opoku-Agyemang attended the 2026 3i Africa Summit, hosted by the Financial institution of Ghana underneath the management of Dr. Johnson Asiama, together with policymakers, innovators, monetary establishments and personal sector leaders.
Talking on Africa’s digital and financial future on the Summit in Accra on Wednesday, Could 6, the Vice President pressured that the continent’s progress is determined by its capability to arrange, combine and construct sturdy programs that assist commerce, innovation and funding at scale.
He emphasised the significance of digital integration, safe cost programs, trusted digital identities and harmonized regulation in strengthening Africa’s financial sovereignty.
A key spotlight of the summit was Ghana’s choice to associate with Rwanda, Zambia and different nations to pilot a continental digital commerce hall targeted on cellular cash interoperability, cross-border digital identification recognition and harmonized e-invoicing.
