Ministry of Home Affairs launches digital services platform

The Ministry of Dwelling Affairs has introduced a digitalization drive geared toward modernizing public service supply and strengthening nationwide safety governance.

The initiative goals to scale back reliance on handbook and paper-based processes, decrease delays in service supply, enhance operational effectivity, strengthen transparency and accountability in service supply, strengthen monitoring and enforcement mechanisms, and strengthen the ministry’s supervisory capabilities, the ministry mentioned.

As a part of this initiative, companies reminiscent of registration and licensing of personal safety organizations, naturalization and citizenship purposes, weapons, ammunition and explosives licenses, and issuance of public security and working permits are actually accessible on-line via the MINTER e-Providers Platform.

The ministry mentioned the platform permits purposes to be submitted on-line, automates processing workflows, permits real-time monitoring of approvals, and information all actions for accountability.

This initiative will considerably scale back the necessity for bodily visits to ministries and places of work, rising transparency and effectivity in service supply, it added.
