Ghana and South Korea sign visa exemption agreement for diplomatic and work passport holders

Ghana and South Korea have signed a visa exemption settlement that enables holders of diplomatic and work passports from each nations to journey visa-free.

The settlement was signed by Ghanaian Overseas Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa and South Korean Overseas Minister Cho Hyun on the sidelines of the continued Africa-Korea Overseas Ministers’ Assembly.

The settlement is the primary visa-free settlement between Ghana and South Korea in practically 50 years of formal diplomatic relations, in accordance with Ablakwa, Hong stated.

He stated negotiations would proceed with the goal of extending the visa exemption settlement to atypical passport holders sooner or later.

The Overseas Minister expressed confidence that this settlement will strengthen cooperation between the 2 nations, promote official exchanges and deepen bilateral relations.
