President John Mahama highlighted youth empowerment and abilities improvement as key pillars of the newly signed UK-Ghana Progress Partnership, describing the settlement as a strategic funding in Ghana’s future workforce.

President Mahama introduced the event in a Fb put up on Monday, June 1, saying the partnership goals to equip younger Ghanaians with the abilities they should thrive in an more and more aggressive world economic system.

He famous that strengthening human capital stays central to the federal government’s long-term improvement agenda.

He stated the settlement prioritizes investments that help non-public sector development, whereas creating alternatives for younger folks to accumulate the suitable abilities and entry high-quality jobs.

He pressured that creating a talented workforce is important to allow Ghana to completely profit from new world financial alternatives.

President Mahama stated: “Offers price as much as £215 million are on the coronary heart of our collaboration with the UK. By prioritizing non-public sector development, infrastructure and youth abilities improvement, we goal to allow younger folks to compete globally.”
