The U.S. Division of Justice’s Civil Rights Division filed a lawsuit Tuesday accusing the College of California, Los Angeles, of tolerating a hostile academic atmosphere for Jewish and Israeli college students.

In its grievance, the Justice Division accused UCLA of violating Title VI, a federal legislation that prohibits discrimination on the premise of race, shade, or nationwide origin in packages and actions that obtain federal monetary support “by intentionally indifference to rampant anti-Semitism on campus.”
