Seven persons are believed to have been killed and several other others injured after an Accra-bound VVIP bus and a Toyota Sienna collided in Saka, on the outskirts of Zebira within the Bawku West area of the Higher East Area.

The tragic accident occurred at round 5.30am on Saturday, June 13, 2026, stunning native residents and disrupting site visitors alongside the busy Bolgatanga-Bauku Expressway.

Witnesses stated the influence was so extreme that each autos have been severely broken and several other passengers have been trapped within the wreckage.

Residents and different street customers joined rescue employees in eradicating the victims from the accident scene and transporting them to Zebira Public Hospital.
