An Everton supporter was arrested for allegedly racially abusing Manchester Metropolis’s Antoine Semenyo throughout Monday’s 3-3 draw on the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Each stewards and followers have reported {that a} 71-year-old man has been launched on bail by Merseyside Police after being arrested on suspicion of racially aggravated breach of peace.

Metropolis issued a press release condemning the alleged abuse of Semenyo and expressing help for each the winger and defender Marc Guech, who was focused on social media for the error that led to Everton’s opener for Tierno Barry.
