The Minister of Roads and Highways, Governor Kwame Agboza, has assured residents of the Higher West area that authorities is dedicated to rehabilitating the dilapidated Saura Wa Expressway, warning that the contract might be terminated if delays proceed.

The peace of mind got here following a gathering in Wa between the Minister and members of involved residents within the Higher West Area who expressed concern over the shortage of progress on the venture.

The group expressed frustration that the contractor, Melpouma, was unable to start work greater than six months after the official mowing ceremony.

Abdul Basit Kombadiana, one of many conveners, stated residents had been upset by the continued delays, noting that the situation of roads was deteriorating, affecting financial exercise and journey.
